BLACK MARIAH was founded by the remnants of an old cover band in Vienna. The influences can obviously be found in the 80s and progressive rock. Nicely done harmonies complete this perfect mix.

After the lineup was set in stone, the band started to work on their first single „Killer Inside“. In winter of 2011 the music video for the single was shot and received very positive feedback. Shortly afterwards BLACK MARIAH started to produce their debut album “Done and Dusted” which features international guest musicians, such as Richard Fortus of Guns n’ Roses and Ryan Martinie of Mudvane. In the same time the music video for “Get Me The Fuck Outta Here” was shot. BLACK MARIAH are very demanding when it comes to performance, songs, artwork, videos etc. and their obsession with perfection makes every new production top this high energy power pack again and again. BLACK MARIAH is a surprisingly fresh and promising act that delivers throbbing, modern rock ‘n’ roll.
